Cayenne Pepper Diet – How to Make the Lemonade Concentrate

If you want to make the lemonade for cayenne pepper diet all in one shot, you can follow the instructions below.

A concentrate can be made for 8 glasses of the lemonade mix. You would first need enough lemons to squeeze out 16 tablespoons of lemon juice into a glass or container. With 16 tablespoons of lemon juice, you would need equal amount of maple syrup to mix with the lemonade juice in the container you are using. Stir the mixture together.

Important note: Cayenne Pepper and water shall not be add to the concentrate at this point of time. The concentrate should contain only fresh lemon juice and maple syrup.

Every time you want to drink the mixture, as the lemon juice and maple syrup will separate, you would need to extract 4 equal tablespoons of the concentrate in a separate glass. Add the cayenne pepper and water and you can start to drink the mixture.

Additional Notes:

You would need to finish the concentrate within 8 hours as the taste of the concentrate would change after 8 hours. The lemon juice would oxidize and lose its nutrients after 8 hours.

You can use lemons at the room temperature. Most of the time, one would put the lemons in the fridge when they are either not ripe or over ripe. This would lead to heart burn and would affect the taste of the lemonade.

It is also advisable that you drink the lemonade within 10 minutes of making the glass of lemonade as the nutrients would dissipate into the air very quickly.

The reason why maple syrup is added in the concentrate is because it acts as a preservative and will preserve the lemon. Adding water to the mixture would cause the nutrients to lose very quickly. Cayenne pepper on the other hand, acts as a catalyst, and you will feel it too hot to be tolerated and feel that it is disgusting. It will also accelerate the breakdown of the nutrients.
